Walking in your ancestors’ footsteps

‘More Than Golf’ Tours can also help you trace your family history and visit the places where your ancestors lived and worked, wherever that may be in Scotland . Our partner, qualified Scottish Family History researcher Caroline Makein, can conduct a variety of initial or more in-depth searches, possibly including photographs, copies of old maps and additional information to give a historical framework to your family background. From the outset, the more information you can supply about your family or person and where you think they lived, the better. Caroline is also happy to act as a ‘study buddy’ to help you undertake your own research while you are in Scotland . More Than Golf Tours will then transport you to the places connected with your ancestors, where you can truly walk in their footsteps. Prices will be advised on enquiry.
You can find out more about Caroline’s services on the www.scottishfamilyrootsearch.co.uk website.
